A lifelong Shark, Coach KK has been making waves at HGC since the age of four and now brings that same passion to coaching. A seasoned competitor and current HGC Sharks record holder, and Division 1 collegiate swimmer at Virginia Military Institute (VMI), KK knows what it takes to excel in the pool, but more importantly, how to make swimming fun, exciting, and rewarding for every athlete.
Known for his energy, patience, and ability to connect with young swimmers, Coach KK thrives on teaching new athletes and helping them build confidence in the water. The kids adore his enthusiasm and encouragement, making every practice a positive experience and helping create a fun, supportive environment that makes for a memorable summer for our swimmers.
With a lifelong passion for swimming and a dedication to athlete development, Coach Doni has been leading the HGC Sharks for the past five seasons, earning GRAL Coach of the Year honors two years in a row.
A former collegiate swimmer and a certified USA Swimming official, Coach Doni brings a wealth of experience to the deck. Known for his technical expertise and ability to bring out the best in every athlete, he focuses on individual strengths, helping each swimmer refine their technique and reach their full potential.
Coach Doni is now passing the Head Coach torch to his son, Kaleb. But no fear, he will continue to be on the pool deck \helping to build confident, skilled athletes who thrive both in and out of the pool.
Anne Stewart grew up as a summer swimmer and has spent most of her life around the pool, developing a genuine love for the sport and the team environment that comes with it. In addition to her swimming background, she is a competitive cheerleader and certified lifeguard, and she has experience coaching and mentoring younger athletes.
Known for her positive attitude, high energy, and natural connection with kids, Anne Stweart brings enthusiasm, patience, and encouragement to every practice. She is professional, dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help swimmers build confidence, improve their skills, and most importantly, have fun along the way.
Cheyenne is a certified lifeguard and certified swim instructor with a passion for helping young swimmers grow in both confidence and skill. She has been recognized by the YMCA for her outstanding work teaching and developing emerging swimmers, earning awards for her dedication, patience, and positive impact on young athletes.
This season, Cheyenne will focus on working with our youngest swimmers, particularly those ages 6 and under, helping prepare them for swim team participation and competition. Her encouraging approach, strong teaching ability, and supportive personality make her a wonderful fit for introducing new swimmers to the sport and helping them build a love for swimming.
